Formation Display

The formation that puts the "fun" back into flying! Unbelievably close to each other when in formation, and even when separated during the routine, all are in the air - going in all directions - all in front of the crowd - and all at the same time! Amazing to watch!

The Team

The pilots and aircraft Nigel calls upon to make up the formation vary according to your requirements. Other aircraft have included Cassutt, Stearman, Extra, Yak52, Yak50, a replica Fokker Wolf and Chipmunk. All pilots hold current Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Display Authorisations.

If the pilots make it look incredibly easy, that's because they're good at what they do! With an implicit trust in each others ability. The whole crowd will be severely entertained!

The Display

You'd think from what we've written so far that you'd be in for an "interesting" display - and you'd be right!

Not content with just a "normal" formation routine, these pilots have got something special. In a nut-shell, they've managed to put the "fun" back into a display. As well as the "usual" formation fly pasts and opposition breaks towards the crowd (when they all look as if they're going to hit each other !), and even when each strut their own individual stuff, there's still more than one aircraft in front of the crowd at the same time managing to miss each other! Most aircraft are aerobatic, and while one is gracefully performing loops rolls and stall turns, then underneath them (yes under!), another is doing opposition passes in front of the crowd at a much faster pace! Aircraft can also perform aerobatics in formation together - complete with tail chases - the lot!

With Debs on the ground providing commentary, whatever the occasion, you can't go wrong with booking these amazing flyers for your event - no matter how big or small. They're always willing to come and give you a look, and arrange all the paperwork for it to take place if necessary.

You won't be disappointed if you book these crowd-pullers.
